Our electroplated diamond blades are a mono-layer of natural diamond bonded with a durable nickel alloy. Unlike impregnated diamond metal, vitrified, & resin bonded products, with electroplated diamond blades the diamond/CBN is not buried thus protruding from the matrix providing a freer, faster cutting action with minimum heat generation. Another distinct benefit of electroplated tooling is their lower cost. In many non-ferrous applications such as fiberglass, ceramics, carbon, graphite, phenolic composites, aerospace materials, and other abrasive applications electroplated diamond blades are commonly used.
